To celebrate the accomplishments of Strayer University’s
graduates during this unprecedented time, please join us for May
Virtual Commencement on May 22, 2021. Although we cannot celebrate
in-person, Virtual Commencement will uphold many of our commencement
ceremony traditions while creating a unique and exciting experience
for our graduates and their families and friends - including
messages from University leaders, featured students and speakers,
name reading, and more.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept late registrations or photo
submissions. If you missed the deadline to register, then you are
welcome to participate in the next Virtual Commencement ceremony.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where do I view Virtual Commencement?
To view the May 2021 Virtual Commencement ceremony, please visit www.strayervirtualcommencement.com. The
undergraduate ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET and the graduate
ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
If I'm not able to watch the ceremony at the scheduled time, will I be able to watch later?
If you cannot view the virtual ceremony at the arranged time, the
video recording will be available at www.strayervirtualcommencement.com to watch after
the event on Saturday, May 22.
Why is my name not included in the Virtual Commencement
ceremony video?
If you do not see your name listed in the May Virtual Commencement
ceremony video, or in the printed program, then you were not
registered for this ceremony. If you were not included in this
ceremony, then you are welcome to register and participate in the next
Virtual Commencement ceremony once more information is
available.
I never received my celebratory package in the mail. How do I get it?
Please email commencement@strayer.edu, and we can track your
package for you.
Are the in-person ceremonies still taking place?
Following best practices and health protocols for social distancing
and large gatherings, we have made the decision not to host an
in-person commencement event prior to June 30, 2021. Decisions to host
an in-person commencement later this year will be announced as soon as
it’s available.
Can I still attend a future in-person ceremony if I participate in Virtual Commencement?
Yes! You are welcome to participate in an in-person ceremony
regardless of whether you choose to attend Virtual Commencement.
Is this the only Virtual Commencement ceremony taking place for 2021 graduates?
We will hold a second Virtual Commencement ceremony in December
2021. Information regarding virtual or in-person ceremonies will be
listed at commencement.strayer.edu as
information becomes available.
Will I receive my diploma after commencement?
Commencement is a ceremony and your diploma will not be issued until
all your degree requirements have been completed. Additional
