The member may wear the honor cord or honor medallion at commencement to distinguish his/her academic excellence. The honor item may be purchased directly from the Honor Society at www.nscs.org.

Q: How can I join NSCS?
A: NSCS membership is open by invitation only. You are only able to join during your first and second years of college. Graduate students do not qualify.

A: Once the application process is completed, NSCS will mail information directly to you. You will then have access to the NSCS website, the chapter page, and the chapter’s Facebook page.
Q: Are scholarships available?
A: Scholarship is one of NSCS’ core values. To recognize and celebrate the academic achievements of our members and to defray the costs of education, NSCS offers more in undergraduate scholarship dollars to its members than any other honor society nationwide. As an NSCS member, you will receive alerts every time a new scholarship is posted.
Q: How much does the membership cost?
A: The fee for a lifetime membership is $97. This one-time fee grants members access to NSCS resources and services. There are neither chapter nor annual dues.
