Membership Requirements
Undergraduate Students Only:
- Completed at least 12 credit hours toward an associate degree or 24 credit hours toward a bachelor's degree at Strayer University.
- Note: transfer credits do not count toward this requirement.
- Be in the top 20% of students based on GPA.
- Minimum GPA varies by enrollment but must be above 3.5.

Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and Strayer University Commencement
The honor cord is purchased by the student directly from the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society website. The certificate is sent to the member upon attending the virtual induction ceremony via Zoom Webinar. The member may wear the honor cord at commencement to distinguish academic excellence.
