Scholarships & tuition discounts
Save on your degree with scholarships
At Strayer, we work hard to create affordable education built for real people in the real world. You’ll find plenty of ways to help make your tuition more affordable, so you can worry less about your budget and start building your future. Here’s a rundown of our scholarships and funds:
Bachelor’s and master’s
Strayer can help you pay for your bachelor’s or master’s degree. For every three courses you successfully complete, you’ll earn one on us, tuition-free, to be redeemed at the end of your program. Eligible bachelor’s and master’s students are eligible and automatically enrolled in the Graduation Fund starting with the first course.
Returning Student Scholarship
Bachelor’s and associate
Finish what you started: eligible students can get $500 off each course when they transfer at least 27 quarter credits, maintain a GPA of 2.0 or greater and meet other eligibility requirements. Combine this scholarship with our Graduation Fund to save over $24,000.
Strayer referral scholarship
Know a Strayer student or graduate? Ask them about a referral scholarship. If you register for an eligible Strayer program, meet all the eligibility requirements and maintain good academic standing, a referral can save you $500 on tuition.
MSIA/ MSIS scholarship
If you’re a new student pursuing a Master of Science in Information Assurance or Information Systems, you may qualify for $6,000 of support. This scholarship – new for 2020 – provides $1,000 for each of your first six quarters.
If you’re a Strayer University bachelor’s graduate ready to pursue a master’s degree, our Alumni Scholarship can save you $4,000. All you need to do is register for an eligible Strayer graduate program, maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater and meet eligibility requirements.
Strayer Family Discount
Family members referred by Strayer alumni or students may be eligible to save up to 40% on the cost of a bachelor's, or select master's, degree when they combine the Strayer Family Discount and Graduation Fund.
